I. The warranty conditions for wooden and wooden-aluminium windows

1. The sales guarantee is the manufacturer’s (AS RehPol) promise to ensure that the sold window meets the conditions prescribed in the warranty conditions.

2. The warranty time of wooden and wooden-aluminium windows is 2 years and it starts upon delivery of the window to the Buyer.

3. Repair of the product during the warranty time shall not prolong the initial warranty time given to the product.

4. Sealed units meet the requirements of the European standard prEN 1279.

5. Purity of glass shall be evaluated in the following conditions: a) observation angle: 90 degrees (straight towards the glass); b) observation distance: 2 meters; c) lighting: natural, light, causing no reflection.

6. Internal surfaces of sealed unit glass boards shall be clean. Boards shall be free from dust, absorbent, glue mastic spills or other dirt restricting transparency through the glass.

7. Warranty time of wooden and wooden-aluminium windows includes the following: paint stability, light and weather resistance of the PVC material, non-breakage of weld joints of window frame corners, weather resistance of window seals, durability of shutter systems (handle, hinges, locks), water tightness of the window, moisture and dust resistance of the sealed unit.

8. Warranty time of wooden and wooden-aluminium windows excludes the following: surface defects of window materials (i.e. scratches, flattening), in case the faults occurred after the product had been delivered to the customer, negligence of usage and maintenance instructions of wooden and wooden-aluminium windows, vandalism or any other physical violence, surface defects (other damages) of windows and sealed units, which are not visible from 2 meters in normal lighting conditions, decorative bars to be glued on the glass and decorative bars fixed on various shaped sealed units, thermal breakage of sealed units. Deformation of windows caused by too high moisture level in rooms (over 80%).

9. In case of a fault, the Sellers warranty means repair or replacement of the faulty part. In case the windows do not meet to a significant extent the conditions agreed upon in the sales contract or they cannot be used to a significant extent in the purpose meant for, the Seller is obliged to replace the windows during the warranty period without any cost to the Buyer.

10. Warranty procedure: warranty works shall be performed by AS RehPol. In a warranty case the Buyer shall immediately contact AS RehPol sales office. Please have the sales agreement ready for reference.

11. As per the conditions set forth in the sales contract goods replaced during the warranty time are subject to a new warranty starting from the delivery date of the replaced goods to the customer. In case of part of goods replaced during warranty period, warranty shall be valid until the end of the general warranty time.

12. Change of ownership shall not alter sellers obligations derived from the sales contract.

13. The Seller’s obligations end with expiration of warranty or as provided by legislation or the contract.

II. Maintenance of windows to be performed by the Buyer:

1. Regular maintenance ensures that wind, noise and dust resistance of a window will not reduce during the long service time. Windows need regular maintenance once per year as a minimum.

2. Warranty includes adjustment of windows once per six months after installation. Warranty does not include adjustment of a window installed by the Customer.

3. Maintenance includes the following: cleaning and lubrication of hinges; cleaning and lubrication of the shutter system; cleaning of window seals from dust and lubrication with silicone oil.

4. Warranty does not extend to faults in case window installation does not meet requirements of the installation instructions issued by the window manufacturer (except in case the window was installed by the seller), purposeless usage of windows by the Buyer, windows have been repaired or reconditioned by the Buyer or a third person during the warranty time, the Buyer has independently improved or modified the windows.
